Terms and agreements

These terms apply when you use this website or buy the Smart Little Writers program. By buying the program, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The Smart Little Writers website and program are operated by Smart Little Writers, a business based in Quebec, Canada. You can reach us through our contact form.

2. The program

Smart Little Writers is a self-paced online writing program for children ages 9 to 12 (Grades 4–6). It includes 12 video lessons, slides, printable daily exercises with answer sheets and self-assessment walkthroughs. It supports learning at home or school but does not replace personalized instruction, tutoring or a professional educational assessment.

3. Buying and price

The price is the amount shown at checkout (currently $24), plus any applicable taxes, paid once through Stripe. You receive your access link by email right after payment. Price changes never affect a purchase you've already made.

4. Your licence

You may use the program with your own children. Tutors, teachers and homeschool parents may also use it with their own students. You may not resell, share your login publicly, upload the materials elsewhere, or sell copies of the videos or worksheets.

5. Access

You have lifetime access for as long as the program is offered. If we ever stop offering it, we will give reasonable advance notice so you can download the printable materials.

6. Intellectual property

All videos, worksheets, text and graphics belong to Smart Little Writers unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, distribute or modify them except as allowed in section 4.

7. Acceptable use

Please use the site and program lawfully and respectfully, keep your login safe and tell us if you think someone else is using it.

8. Other websites

We may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Liability

We work hard to make the program accurate and useful, but every child learns differently and we cannot promise specific grades or results. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer protection law gives you.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you bought the program applies to that purchase.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
